Site Specific Installations

Large scale site specific work allows for a continuation of the exploration of the themes that are addressed in the other series and often is able to add another dimension to the work as they relate specifically to their environment or to contemporary political themes. The Bank of America waiting room installation investigated collapse at a physical, historical and systematic level. The "A picture of a village of the future" installation also looked at history, change and what becomes a monument to a particular moment in time. The site specific landscape pieces deal with compositional imagery from the area that they are created in as well as pollutants that are found within that specific environment.

The piece for the Aldrich Museum responded to the architectural intent of the building to integrate with the surrounding. Pollen spores from the Museum's property served as the basis for the piece. In New Orleans, possible objects of the houses past were suggested by the ghosted trails of subatomic decay patterns.
